A new year has emerged, and it’s apparently 2018. I often find myself in wonder of what it was like before time had a calendar; when seconds were happening; when minutes were moments; when days were set only in the sun’s passing glory.
Just in the way that the rest of our blessed animal kingdom survives.
The hypocrisy lies in wanting for a time machine to roll back the days and years, before they were given those names.
The paradox lies in getting back to this future now in a time machine that is reliant on the one thing that doesn’t exist in that place. Coming back for a want of that human societal need to know.
