Once upon a time, in a land not too far away, there was a little, green frog who lived on a little, green lily in a little, green pond in a big, dark forest.

The little green frog loved living on the little, green lily in the little green pond and he had many friends there, the flies.  The flies would buzz around the little, green frog who sat on the little, green lily in the little green pond in the big, dark forest.

But there was a problem.  The little, green frog would eat the flies buzzing around him.  One day, when the little, green frog woke up, he looked around the little, green lily and the little green pond and all of his fly friends were gone.

“Where did they go?” Questioned the little, green frog.  “What am I going to eat now? There is nothing else to eat here!”

The little, green frog realising he had nothing left to eat, decided to leave the little, green lily in the little, green pond and head out into the big, dark forest foraging for food. So he jumped off the little, green lily, jumped across the little, green pond and went off into the big, dark forest.

After a while the little, green frog came across a giant giraffe standing tall amongst the trees. The giant giraffe’s neck disappearing way up in the trees. The little, green frog looked up and said,

“I can’t eat that! It’s toooo big!”

So the little, green frog hopped along further into the big, dark forest and he came across another animal. This time it was a big, red kangaroo, standing big and tall in the big, dark forest. She bounded around, boing, boing, boing.

The little, green frog looked up at the kangaroo and said,

I can’t eat that! It’s toooo big!

So the little, green frog hopped along further into the big, dark forest looking for food. After a while, he came across another animal. This time it was a big, black wolf howling at the moon.  “Ahhoooooo” she howled. The little, green frog looked up at the big, black wolf and said,

I can’t eat that! It’s toooo big!

The little, green frog was sad and hungry. “How will I ever find some food in the big, dark forest?” He questioned. He hopped along, leaving the big, black wolf behind and as he hopped through a big, green bush he found his friends, the flies, on the other side.

“Hello flies.” Said the little, green frog.

The flies all said hello back, happy to see their friend again.

The little, green frog asked them, “Flies, why did you leave the little, green pond?”

“Because you kept eating us.” Said one of flies.

“But I need to eat something.” Said the little, green frog. “And you were the only thing at the little, green pond I could eat.”

“That’s not true.” Said the flies. “There’s so much food there. There’s blue berries on the bushes. There’s yellow bananas and yummy red apples to eat.”

“I can eat those?” Asked the little, green frog.

“Of course!” Said the flies.

“I had no idea.” Said the little, green frog. “But I’m willing to try them. Especially the yummy, red apples. Come back to the little, green pond with me and we can eat them together!”

The flies were happy to go back to the little, green pond with their little, green frog friend. They buzzed around with glee. So the little, green frog and the flies all hopped and buzzed back to the little, green pond.

Once they returned, the little, green frog jumped over the little, green pond, hopped onto his little, green lily and happily looked around at all the blue berries, the yellow bananas and the yummy, red apples that he could eat and share with his friends, the flies, and they all lived happily ever after.

The end.
